Hotel Guest Reviews of the 1876 Heritage Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 15, 2013

overall I enjoyed my experience and would return. It was quite, it was clean and there were no surprises with regard to fees. The staff could have been friendlier but didn't bother me and we just went out to eat.

Could be a nice place but the decor was a hodgepodge of old, new and an attempt to make cheap furniture, some that were not even functional. The beds were very old and worn out. The name of the hotel should be "The rules hotel" Never in my life have I ever seen so many do not rules posted in so many places. Every room, every hall and even at the check in you had to sign a rules sheet. On top of everything else, I felt like I was being watched with every move I made. I even made a comment to my travel friend that I hoped we woke up in the morning because it was so creepy there.
Also, I was charged an extra $20.00 deposit on my credit card that was supposed to be refunded at check out. Because we were leaving very early in the morning, I was told not to wake her up and she would have the credit posted to my credit card which at this time has not been done.
Sorry, but I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I would not stay at this inn again. It took forever to check in and the woman did not seem to know how to do it. Our room had 4 towels for two of us for 3 days. The light in the bathroom was so dim that it was hard for my husband to shave. The cleaning staff did not come to the room until the end of second day and didn't leave a bath mat or towels. I have stayed at much better places for a lot less money. There was a coffee pot in the room but no coffee or cups. Would not recommend this inn to anyone. ...
