The air conditioning worked.

The staff was awful, rude, acknowledgeable.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in 30 years of traveling. The staff was rude and arrogent. They knew nothing about the city, not even basic things a hotel front desk should know such as where to eat or the best way to travel. The maids entered our room despite the do not disturb sign hanging outside the door and proceeded to shout to one another and wake us all up.
