Hotel Guest Reviews of the Mile North Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 7, 2012

The location is great. However, even though we had used the do not enter sign on the door, someone keyed into our room and made several phone calls totaling around $130. The hotel billed it to the room and we just barely caught it. It took them several hours to figure out what happened and to let us know that the bill had been fixed. Since they never told us what actually happened, I am going with the counter lady's first guess that someone else keyed into our room. Also the bellhop would not listen to my wife when he was loading the car, and so several collectors models where almost ruined when they tried to stack a heavy bag on top of the suite case that had them. So I would guess it is a good hotel if you travel light and are on your own. Would not recommend for a family because the kids may not be able to sleep (lots of outside noise, and you can hear everything that goes on). Also, we will not be staying there again. ...

Overall, nice hotel, nice location north of Wacker in the Gold Coast. I noticed a few items that needed repair in the room, but assuming that these get fixed, it's a nice place to stay, especially if you can get a Priceline discount.

Staff very friendly and helpful; rooms quite adequate; lobby small compared to other 4 star hotels we've stayed in, but tasteful. Room was peacefully quiet -- not a lot of noise or congestion in halls -- possibly due to it being a smaller hotel.

I liked the hotel , it was clean and comfortable , the only thing I wasn't too happy with was the 210 dollars for the parking , I think u should get a docking if u stay for more than 2 days. If I was only there overnight no big deal, but we stayed 4 nights which actually equaled the amount of the room.

Family Traveling with Young Children
The Affinia was clean and nicely decorated. The room was larger than typical hotel rooms. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for our trip, everything was in walking distance.

Great location and room pricing. Parking fee atrocious.

Our room faced the alley in back and starting about 3 a.m. there was large truck activity, beeping (backing up beep), sounded like palates or something were being dropped. Very noisy and again, the view was an alley. No ice machines or ice bucket.
