I have stayed at the Affinia Dumont many times. I like the rooms (large, clean, with kitchenware, microwave, refrigerator).
I like virtually everything about this hotel. My one, minor reservation is the $13.95/day surcharge for internet, when so many hotels offer free internet. But all else is exemplary.

I consider this an excellent hotel in a safe and appealing location, with a cordial, professional staff.

The bed was amazing. Not only was it clean and gigantic, but the choice of multiple pillows. Heaven!
The internet was confusing. You had to pay in the room, but the lobby was free. That being said, I was never given instructions on how to log in!

The area around the hotel was under construction, but what place isn't in NYC? The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean.

The hotel exceeded my expectations - it was exactly what we needed in terms of location, cleanliness, and friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend it to anyone who is travelling to New York and looking for affordable but good quality accomodations.

This is an exceptional value for New York. The rooms are former apartments, which means that the renovated rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Beautiful suite. Excellent and friendly staff. Very convenient location. I will definitely return.

This hotel was worth more than I paid for it. It is all suites. Our suite had a kitchen with cookware, plates and utensils. I was only there overnight for my birthday with my sister to see a Broadway show, but we wished that we could have stayed longer. We also had a view of the Chrysler and other buildings.
