Hotel Guest Reviews of the Affinia Dumont
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.October 15, 2012

I came in during the afternoon and left early the following morning. Check-in and out was easy. Room was nice and bed comfortable. Had a kitchen area that I did not have time to use. That would have been nice for a longer stay. I needed something close to the 7 line and the hotel was a easy walk to Grand Central. I could have taken a North/South subway to Grand Central but choose to walk and enjoy the activities along the way. The hotel served my purpose well. ...

Had a great stay at the Affinia Dumont. Had requested a quiet room, they didn't get the message. They gave me one behind the elevator, I worried it wouldn't be quiet so they switched me to a bigger one a little farther from the elevator. It was very quiet, had double the windows, and even looked newer. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you ask about something, they remember and check back with you when they see you again. There was plenty of hot water with good pressure, and an individual programmable thermostat. Mine kept resetting itself, so the room sometimes got too warm till I reset it but that was probably a fluke. I was only there a weekend, so I didn't get it fixed. You feel pampered there, and you're greeted ilk an old friend each time you come in.
