Hotel Guest Reviews of the Affinia Dumont

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Enjoyed our large room for our family of 4 with two teenage boys. The location was central and there were many great choices for restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious (very spacious for a NYC room) and had a nice view and it was available early!

Huge room for New York City standards. More like a Manhattan apartment. Friendly staff very clean and close to the subway.

I was very pleased with this hotel. I read the reviews and they were accurate. The room was more like the size of an apartment. Very clean and great service. The only downside to this location was I wish there had been more restaurant choices very close by. There was a market next door so that was great. Overall I am a very picky consumer and I would definitely stay here again. This was definitely a great value for the price I paid. ...read more

Loved the kitchenette area - it was very helpful to be able to eat a quick breakfast in the room before heading out.
The hotel was not able to call cabs for us ahead of time - they did help us flag them down, but it was quite tough at times.

This was a very nice hotel - clean rooms, pleasant and helpful staff, nice kitchenette, within walking distance to Empire State Building and Times Square (longer walk). It did not have overly large spaces (rooms and public areas), but decent for NYC.

Great room features like kitchen, full size desk and huge bead.

I wish I had had more time in this modern, well designed hotel. Getting a suite for the price of a room was a great deal on Priceline.

Its location and cleanliness was impressive. Nice sized studio room for 2 people. Good closet space and a kitchen, say what! LOL
I was on the 5th floor so I didn't get the excellent views and there was no where to go to see the excellent views if you weren't on those top floors. I wish there could have been a common space up there.

Great area felt safe at night. Walkable to stations. I actually walked to Penn Station no problem.

The room we had was excellent, the staff was very nice. Location of hotel is great - 1 1/2 blocks to metro stop - also on bus lines and many taxis pass by all the time. Close to attractions.
Be sure to indicate that all taxes are not quoted in your price - in NYC they are quite high and added another $100 to our total cost.

Only con was internet fee - quite steep if you are staying for any length of time. Junior suite was a great room for more than 2 people. Very clean hotel and staff are very nice. Easy transportation and minutes to most attractions. Lots of restaurants close buy that are very reasonable.

One of the best hotel experiences we've had in New York. Really friendly, efficient staff from the front desk, bellmen, and concierge. The room was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The view was incredible.

Fantastic views and the staff was happy to move us to a higher floor to get a better view when we asked. Also the beds were super comfortable.

It's close to the 6 train, the rooms were great, and it had a nice charm to it. If the pillow menu is something you find interesting, don't wait to order, because they do run out. The views from the hotel were amazing, and it was just what the doctor ordered because it was a peaceful place in the middle of the zoo of Manhattan. Loved it!
