Great US location; spacious rooms, quality bedding, attractive decor, and the gallery kitchen was useful.
There wasn't much that I didn't like. The closest subway stop was a few blocks away; I wish it would be closer.

The Affinia Gardens is a little gem of a hotel. I regularly visit NYC due my work and thought that I knew of all the nicer hotels where one can find a good rate. Due to the need for a last minute reservation and my regular spots having no vacancies, I gave the Affinia Gardens a shot and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a quiet US location. Spacious, clean, comfortable yet simple.
Manager and Assistant manager were not hospitable. Disputing over late check out charge. :(

Very spacious hotel. Basic yet comfortable and provided nice ammenities like nice Philosophy soaps/shampoo and hairdryer.

First room filthy, and
next room had a bug and a mouse.

The first room was full of food on floors in all rooms. Kids fingerprints all over the mirror. Had to wait one day to move to different room. That room had a bug and saw a mouse. Hotel in need of major rehab. They used to have coffee all day in the lounge and now only until noon.
