Airport Suites

This hotel is rustic and near the airport. It has a pool and is located away from shops and the main road.

The room is very basic – clean bathroom and bed. The beds were not very comfortable. The TV was old and the cable did not work well. The AC is one of those 3rd world wall units and was very touchy – the room was either humid/steamy or freezing. The staff is very nice and accomodating. The facilities were very basic, there was a pool, but never got a chance to use it. The area does not have many restaurants or activities in walking distance. It seems to be more towards the back of a residential area. Location is close to the airport, good if you have an early flight and need a quick overnight stay. Close to airport, good shuttle, the man at the front desk was very rude and not helpful. Made checking in difficult. Ok if you just need to crash for a night.

People are friendly and willing to provide good service. The hotel was clean. The Restaurant has a limited but acceptable menu. This is a plus considering that there are not any restaurants in the vicinity. Given the humid climate the carpet in the hallways gets musty. There is no elevator and guests have to carry their luggage to the second floor. The pool area is pleasant.
