Hotel Guest Reviews of the Albergo Marin
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.August 22, 2012

We adored everything about this hotel! It had a vintage appeal and was very quaint and charming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

In short, it's an inexpensive no frills hotel in Venice without air conditioning. They do give you a fan but be prepared for some serious heat if you travel in July as I did. Free WiFi but the internet connection was slow. Nice little continental breakfast included as well.

Hotel is close to parking, train station and water bus stop. There are a couple decent restaurants within 5 min walk. No A/C, though they said they were installing it. Free internet didn't work reliably. I tried often and got it to work only for a few minutes 1 day. Otherwise it worked. Room was okay for the most part, bed was mediocre. Shower went hot and cold, wouldn't keep constant temperature. ...

The staff was friendly, but there was no offer of help with our luggage up the stairs. It is a quiet location.

Good location near the train station and the grand canal.

We loved it. It was simple, but very charming both on the outside and on the inside. The receptionist was very helpful. Location is great if you don't want to spend too much, as you can walk there easily from the parking lots even with lots of luggage.

A great location just off the Great Canal but in the back alley where it is quiet. Also a 2 min walk from the Piazzale Roma Bus station. You can catch your free cruise ship shuttle (5 min drive) there as well. (Your fare from VCE airport is 4 euro - 20 min bus ride)
