The staff was very friendly, informative, and helpful.
There were a lot of smokers all over the property in the areas we would like to have sat & relaxed.
The Alpenrose impressed me with their friendly, personable staff. They give you passes to a semi-private beach just down the street that has a restaurant and play area at it. I like that it is on a quiet street near the beach and the town. The rooms could be updated, while still keeping the character of the Inn. I disliked that smoking was allowed in all public areas as it was hard for my preteen daughter and I to enjoy the fresh air on the sun deck with all the smoke. We did enjoy the continental breakfast and visiting with the staff. ...
