Amalfi Hotel Chicago

Overall, the expierence was great. I stay in a lot of hotels, but this is the first that I had read carpet treatment for the price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel special.

Great location. Super nice staff.

Quiet Place. No wow factor. Not worth cost. Lackluster lobby and bar. Rooms are small. Requested higher floor, was given 3rd floor starring directly into another unattractive building and alley. Trash taken out hourly and incredibly loud. Non-working refrigerator. When asked for a transfer at 3pm, the earliest check-in, was denied and asked to try again at 7am and hung up on. Very rude management. Will not be back. Stayed at Hotel Sax 1 block away and was a much better experience. Tried this to check it out and just not worth the time. Exceeded expectations.

Nice clean hotel, very conveniently located in downtown Chicago, perhaps this is why it is that expensive (both the room rate and the parking). Nearby to convenient public transportation, and very nearby to nice attractions. Free breakfast is handy (well, it's not an elaborate breakfast, but something to eat), WiFi included in room rate, which is nice. Staff is very friendly.

I was very satisfied and pleased with the Amalfi Hotel. The room was great and the location is very convenient for staying in Chicago.

Staff is courteous, professional & helpful. Lobby has modern but comfortable decor and a desk where you sit to register was a nice touch. The rooms are nice size with comfortable beds and pillows and spacious bathroom.
