Hotel Guest Reviews of the Amalfi Hotel Chicago

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Fantastic complimentary cocktail hour: great drinks and hors d'oeuvres, kind service, social atmosphere.
The lobby was very small, check-in felt like an office meeting.

The Amalfi is very modern, rooms are great, back views were not. Lobby was small and office-y. Staff, however, was very nice and willing to help. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Clean. The breakfast infront of elevator at each floor is extremely convenient. Friendly staff. Free wireless itnernet.
Extremely expensive parking, which is not included in the room rate.

Nice clean hotel, very conveniently located in downtown Chicago, perhaps this is why it is that expensive (both the room rate and the parking). Nearby to convenient public transportation, and very nearby to nice attractions. Free breakfast is handy (well, it's not an elaborate breakfast, but something to eat), WiFi included in room rate, which is nice. Staff is very friendly.

Ambiance, service, daily cocktail party
Nothing

This is an excellent hotel with fair pricing. It is not quite as convenient to Michigan Ave. "Miracle Mile" as some others but it is only a few blocks away and the positive aspects of the hotel outweigh the minor inconvenience.

The daily breakfast on each floor was very convenient.
There was a bottle top left on the floor from a previous guest.

I was very satisfied and pleased with the Amalfi Hotel. The room was great and the location is very convenient for staying in Chicago.

The room was quiet, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the staff very helpful.
Everything was great!

Great location! Walking distance to Navy Pier, Millennium Park and the Art Institute. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the bathroom. Wonderful double shower head and Aveda products. The staff was very helpful and the continental breakfast on each floor was great! I could just run down the hall and bring a plate back to the room.

They offered a happy hour for the guests.
They did not have the reservation. You could hear all the outside traffic and noise from the bar next door from the room.

Most comfortable bedding pillows I've ever had in a hotel. Nice Breakfast bar and cocktail hour daily.
Can't think of anything :)

Staff is courteous, professional & helpful. Lobby has modern but comfortable decor and a desk where you sit to register was a nice touch. The rooms are nice size with comfortable beds and pillows and spacious bathroom.

Wonderful hotel. Modern and classy! Our pet-friendly room was just a clean and fresh as any normal hotel room. Not a trace of past pets! The staff was super friendly and helpful. A breakfast bar was set up on our floor's elevator lobby which was nice and convenient!
