Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Value Inn Madison

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The moment I ended my stay...
Security, safety, lack of customer service, dirty, missed promises, rude staff, did I mention my health and safety concerns.

Breakfast.
People staying in the rooms around us were loud late at night. When we notified the front desk nothing was done.

We checked into the hotel late at night after calling ahead about 4 or 5 hours. They refused to let us have a bed with two beds because we have 2 small children, and there was barely any room besides the one bed that was in the room. The people in the room next to us could be heard down the hallway before we even got to our door. There must have been 4 or 5 people yelling and laughing. It was already 10:30 and the kids just wanted to go to bed, but it took till after 12:00 am. We complained to the lady at the desk twice but nothing was done about it. The basic thing needed was a good night's sleep, and we never got it. Stayed at this motel a few years before, but it has obviously gone downhill. Mold in the shower too! Don't stay at this motel if you want a good night's sleep. Had to sleep with the TV on to drown out the some of the noise. ...read more

Only good thing was the man at the counter was very friendly.
There is nothing that I liked about the hotel.

The good part about this hotel was that the man in the office was nice. That is it. Everything else is not good.
You had my money and I was screwed.

Nothing at all it was a dump creeped me out.
It was old and located on frontage road so the area located like it was a construction area the pits.

This hotel should not even qualify for 1 star rating it was a truckers hotel location, old dingy, shower floor was dirty and so was carpet, also positive was that each room had inside doors. Did not have key cards each room had an old fashioned type key. It was just old and creepy for a women traveling alone.

They charged me FOUR times for my one-night stay and over drafted my bank account. Now I'm out $175. Called the hotel to resolve this issue. spoke to a man but forgot to take his name. he wasn't very helpful. I asked for his manager's name and # but he said there is no manager. finally, he gave me the name of the owner but not willing to provide me with a contact #. he told me to call back the next day and told me the lady on the next shift could refund me. I called the next day and she was very terse. she said she had solved the issue but didn't even let me explain my situation. She couldn't even let me know when my refund would go through. ...read more

It was clean, and affordable.
The location is difficult to find. The hotel can be seen but the frontage road is hidden.

Remodeled breakfast facilities, good food.
Dirty, old bathroom. Scary out behind the hotel where the pet area was.

The hotel was not "America's Best". It was old, run down and next to a land fill.

It was clean and the breakfast bar was sufficient.
Ceramic tile hall floors made it extremely noisy with doors banging and conversations-not easy to sleep.

I would not return to this hotel. Extremely noisy due to ceramic hallway floors. When calling the front desk number, the person that answered was not on the property to handle the noise complaint. Was kept awake on Saturday night until 3:30am Sunday morning by partying residents. I will never stay here again.

The price was good.
Quite possibly the worst free breakfast ever. The ad says that this hotel offers both smoking and non-smoking rooms but it is a non-smoking.
