Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Inn St Petersburg

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Inexpensive place that is more of a B&B than the name would make you expect.
It is a little old and more homey than I expected. But rather quaint.

It is a nice place to sleep, but not to hang out in. Very short walk to downtown and the shoreline. Fortunately I wake up early because you have to have your car out of the parking lot early on Sunday mornings. The couple who run the place and very friendly. They know the area well and are happy to help you out.

The older hotel feel, and the friendly owners.
Nothing.

The hotel was exactly what we like. The owners are friendly and helpful- there all the time making sure everything is just right. The location is great for being able to walk everywhere downtown, or you could catch the trolley, but we didn't use that. The hotel is older, so the rooms are small, but it has that nice "old hotel" feel- you can open the windows, hardwood floors in our room, nice welcoming entrance area/lobby with comfortable couches etc. And being an older hotel, it was surprisingly quiet (no noise through the walls). The breakfast is a nice continental breakfast. Nothing fancy, but we would have coffee, yogurt, a piece of fruit and maybe a bagel. Enough for us. The happy hour (free glass of wine or beer) is a nice little extra that we really enjoyed. ...read more

I liked the front room it was very tastefully decorated with antiques and cute.I also enjoyed the free parking and free breakfast, and good location.
The carpets are somewhat worn in our room, and the floor in the bathroom looked a little dirty when we arrived.

Our room was well kept and seemed very clean as far as the linens and pillows went, but our room was kind of small. However, it was a good location, for a reasonable price. I guess because I booked through Priceline, they wouldn't let me change the bed preference, and it was disappointing. But we did enjoy the free parking and continental breakfast that was complimentary.

I liked the very friendly warm atmosphere.
The parking.

America's Best Inn is a very comfortable, warm friendly atmosphere. If we needed anything we got it! I enjoyed my stay and the price was very affordable.

The familiar atmosphere; it felt as if it was a second home.
I loved everything, however, the parking could be a problem to some.

A very pleasant stay and it met, if not exceeded, my expectations. The staff was very well-natured and friendly, they truly care for the Inn and their guests. It felt like a second home to me; it was lived in, yet comfortable. I will definitely go back if I happen to be in St. Petersburg in the future.

Great location, clean and very good price.
Limited off street parking.

This hotel is small, but not too small. The owners are pleasant and helpful. Our room was on the first of two floors and had all that we needed for an overnight stay. The room was quiet although on the small side. We were offered a complimentary wine during their happy hour in the lobby with other guests. Also, we had a buffet breakfast in the morning. We are definitely coming back for a longer stay. ...read more
