Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Inn & Suites-Fort Gordon/Augusta

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel should offer a better breakfast selection.

Not much, the bed was comfortable.
We booked based on the 8+ ratings this hotel has, but in our experience it falls far from that.

There is a very unpleasant smell on the hallways, in the room, the bathroom had a very repulsive smell that didn't go away within the 3 nights we stayed there. I did not get the feeling of cleanliness, there was a lot of dust everywhere (don't they know that dust is mostly human dead skin cells??), I felt the need to disinfect everything. The only positive aspects: comfortable bed and pillows. ...read more

Room so dirty and smoky that I checked out.
Nobody should sell a room that is that disgusting. I was one amongst several that left despite having no rooms available in Augusta because of the Masters.

The room was clean and was well appointed for a 2-star hotel. Easy to reach location.

Excellent location. Great restaurant across the street. Gas station close by. Clean rooms great for an overnight stay, lots of parking. Breakfast in the am was perfect.
Front desk staff seemed stressed out all the time. Helpful but didn't go out of their way to help guests. Pool could use some updating. Restaurant on site wasnt open and would have been great to have access to that as not much to do in the area.

Overal a perfect place to stay when attending the Masters. Close to the course and a reasonable price. Not much to do in the area so not ideal for a long stay but perfect for one or two nights. Would stay again.

Room was clean. We liked the refrigerator with separate freezer, which was larger than in most hotel rooms.
Restaurant entrance through lobby meant the lobby was very loud. One of the sheets had an unattractive stain.

When we checked in I was concerned that the noise from the restaurant's karaoke would bother us, since it was so loud in the lobby and our room was on the near end of the hall. The receptionist assured me we wouldn't hear it in our room. She was right. The only time we heard anything was when people from the restaurant came into the hotel lobby to use the public restrooms.

The room was extremely clean and the bed was double sheeted.
The decor was not my taste.

I stayed here while attending The Masters. It was extremely clean, the beds were double sheeted, it had a free continental breakfast and it was easy to get to Augusta National from the hotel. I would stay here again.
