Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Value Inn & Suites - Kansas City/Downtown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 17, 2013

For the money it was probably the best your going to get in the downtown KC area. I was cleaner than it looks from the outside. They management is trying.Priceline strict cancellation policies will prohibit me from using Priceline ever again. I found the forfeiture of my last nights fee unfair under the circumstances of the impending blizzard.

I hated this hotel. Housekeeping didn't clean our room, and the door didn't lock well. All in all I didn't feel safe.

This was such a dump! From the moment we pulled up my husband started to laugh because it was so gross looking! There were several contractors inside the building working at all hours and making a
huge mess, there was chocolate smeared all over the top of the elevator (which was more like a tiny wooden box), the pool was tiny and did not have a shallow end - my son jumped straight in near the steps and was so surprised he couldn't touch, the water did not regulate and I took scalding hot showers for 2 days in a row. It was cheap and
dirty and it was a terrible experience! ...

The hotel is adequate for a simple over night stay. Don't check in, however, expecting it to be more than an economy stay.

My friends and I had a horrible experience. The front desk attendant was very rude and didn't even read our confirmation. Gave us the wrong room. We then had to go back where he then charged me more than what my confirmation price was. Then charged me extra for a guest I had because it was past 10 pm.
