Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Value Inn And Suites/San Juan Capistrano
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 9, 2013

The hotel was dark and uncomfortable. It was close to shopping and food. I don't think I will stay here again.

The hotel was right under a bridge and next to a rail line. Poor and I mean poor insulation/windows. It sounded like the train was in our room. I mean loud. The couch was greasy and nasty. The carpet nasty. The bed was super lumpy and I felt dirty after sleeping there. I feel really bad about saying these things, but I almost left for home a day early just to get away from the hotel. Super close to the Mission at San Juan Capistrano that was the best part. Again I feel bad about saying bad things about the hotel but it was horrible. Sorry. ...

The hotel was good for the star rating, I believe one or two. It felt somewhat safe. I liked the heating units in the room. The TV room was nice as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the space. The refrigerator did not work.

We stayed here to avoid having to wake up early for a morning trip to Catalina. The room was clean, but had a dirty feel to it. The location was questionable. The worst part- between the train, the freeway, the loud ac and being able to hear every step the person above us took, I got about two hours of sleep. I should have just stayed in San Diego and driven up in the morning. ...

bit noisy, close to the FWY and train tracks.
