Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Value Inn Athens

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It is a older property. Needs some updating but for the price we were satisfied.

I Have used Priceline for years. Several travels, i have never been disappointed until now. Priceline needs to reconsider having any affilation with this establishment.

The room, location and staff were adequate, not great.
The "complementy" breakfast was a joke. Coffee, cereal and a few sorry donuts.

It was obviously once a luxury hotel but has long since seen it's day. Not worth
XXX a night compared to other hotels. Even Super 8. I booked here because it was the only thing available for First Monday in Canton.

Bed bugs

I ended up not staying at this hotel due to bed bugs being in two different rooms.

just the location
yes No towels when asked for more they said they had other rooms to save them for so I was only given 1 extra. Not much food in the morning as stated. Pool was green and could not use.

The rooms were clean but had a bad smell to it and only two towels per room and when asked for more it was like pulling teeth. My family and I will not be staying there again we will pay extra to stay down the street at the Holiday express.

Location
I stayed two nights, my room was not cleaned, and when I called the front desk to ask for fresh towels and coffee I was told "well you got your room cleaned didn't you, you should have those items" When I told him was not cleaned .

Canton (Trade Days) hotels are usually booked up is the next best location if you are making a weekend of it. But this hotel was rated a bit high. It is old. and the staff there is not very helpful.

It was disgusting, smelly, scary, and fleas in our bed.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. It was disgusting and I would never stay again. The curtain lengths were wrong.so the air conditioner.blew the curtains, people were so loud and disrespectful at night RIGHT outside our door, it is completely outdated and there were fleas in our bed. If you want to stay at a.comfortable, relatively.nice hotel go down the street to the.Holiday Inn Express do not be.cheap and stay here you will regret your choice! ...read more
