Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rodeway Inn Reading

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I would not recommend this hotel. The outside doors the locks were broken or missing. The smoke detectors were taken off the walls and put in the dresser drawers. Only half the lights worked in the room we were in. The management seemed not to really care what was going on around the hotel

i didn't have high expectations so i wasn't really bothered with the poor state it was in. we only stayed there to sleep. the room was ok some paneling was peeling off and the bathroom had spider webs. The alarm clock didn't work and they room telephones were out of order too.

It was bad!

We were checking into the hotel under emergency circumstances where our ceiling in the bedroom of our apartment caved in. We were checking into the hotel to get away from the mildew and mold in our apartment but, after stepping foot in that hotel it made us go back home and tough it out with the mildew and mold from our collapsed ceiling!

I liked nothing about this hotel.
20 words would be too short.

First the hotel staff was rude, the manager on duty was very condescending to my wife they did not even check my ID
or get my vehicle license plate number. I had left a wake-up call for 6 am. I woke-up at 7:AM. We were told that the phone was not working in our room due to a storm we had the night before and the person that was supposed to go around and knock on the doors for wake-up calls was "unavailable". I found the overall quality of this hotel deplorable. The free WiFi was only in one un-air conditioned room in the main building. ...read more

Convenient, cheep, excellent Bar/Rest located within.
Could've been nicer appearance wise.

The room was huge! The bathroom and decor wasn't that fancy, not too much to it really. Conveniently located, friendly staff and the bar/rest connected was awesome. Great service, fun Sports/Club like atmosphere, really nice good looking young crowd. Ample parking.

It was centrally located.
The housekeeping leaves something to be modified.

It seems that they were interested in numbers, and not much more. Things need fixing, but that did not seem to be something that was high on their customer comfort list.

Nothing.
Bad service, dirty bathrooms, unsafe neighborhood.

My stay in this hotel was awful! As we were walking to the counter to check in, they didn't bother to greet us, they were only concerned if we were over 21. Then they tried to charge me twice for the room and when I questioned it they acted like it was my fault. They didn't know anything about customer service! When we look in the bathroom there little bugs in the bath tub! Also there were holes in the walls covered up by wallpaper, and the phone was damaged. The exercise room was also out of order. ...read more
