Americas Best Value Inn - Fort Worth

If all you need is a place to sleep and wash up and you're on a budget. this hotel is fine.

Clean, conformatable for price.

Once again, this is not about America's Best Value Inn. This is about the Knight's Inn. Priceline overbooked America's Best Value Inn and booked me in the Knight's Inn. 3 minutes in the room I killed 2 cock roaches and a crickett. I pulled the comforter down and the sheets were used and it had hair in the bed. This was by far the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I went next door to the America's Best Value Inn and inquired about a room the next morning - they were still full, so, I went down the street to the Super 8 and had a very restful rest the next night. Well, in a pinch I might stay here again. The clerk was nice, AFTER I begged him to let me in the lobby. I guess they have an after hours check-in policy that makes you talk to them through a glass window - like you're picking up tickets at a box office. It was FREEZING cold outside. The heating system blew out smelly air - it got better after a few minutes but it was gross. The door didn't block outside noise. There's no bar soap here - only soft soap from a pump on the wall and I don't think it cut the dirt so much as it coated it. yech. Location was good and the price. But I thought about it, and if I pay about $100 for a nice room, should I get a room that's at least half as nice for half the price? Great for an overnight.

Bad location, unfriendly staff, unsafe.

Would recommend smell bad in rooms and stains through out room on furniture and bedding, charge extra fee for pet.

Great hotel to stay at for those that are looking for a couple of nights! Right on the I-30 highway to get you to downtown Fort Worth within five to ten minutes! Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions politely. The entire room was clean, maintained, and very well lit. Granite vanity tabletops! I was STUNNED to find this! Bed was a little stiff, but I've never been able to sleep well in a bed that isn't mine. I was warm, Pizza Hut delivers to your room (a phone number is provided to them on the key cards). Only thing I found a little disconcerting was that there was only one deadbolt and opens when you turn the handle. If you're freaked out about paranormal stuff, I would suggest that you ask for another room if you get 226, though...
