Americas Best Value Inn Lantana/Palm Beach

The ladies at the frint desk helped me with delivery& were to find a store. My hotel room had a dirty floor, a closet door that wouldn't close all the way& the bathroom door had wood falling off of it. There's a walmart, Kmart& beach 10- 20mins. away from the hotel. A Popeyes, Tacobell& Sam's Club right next to the hotel.

Horrible service mold in room, I have picture. Unattentive staff to issue. Slept with window open to have non must moldy air. I spent over two hours on priceline and this was the choice I made based on location and previous rating. Boy was it wrong!!!!

The location was good for us by I 95. We expected some highway noise which there was but that was OK. The heater was so so so loud we could not use it and it was an usually cold night for Fl. So we just couldn't use the heat. There was a county truck outside out window pumping a drain since it had rain hard, but we don't blame the hotel as that could happen anywhere. The place looks OK from the outside, but is very worn and seems to cater to work men that come to work in the area. There is nothing wrong with that but it just did not feel comfortable, and it felt more like transients living there then a hotel for travelers. We would not return to this hotel again. ...read more

Never stay here. I'm not a fan of a "bait & switch". If I book a non-smoking room, I expect a non-smoking room. If you don't have said non-smoking room, call me and tell me... Why do you require me to put every bit of contact information I have, but don't use it when you fail to have the product sold to me. My wife has serious allergies & it was only bc we arrived less than an hour before we were supposed to be at a wedding, that we even stayed. The room was stained, and smelled like an old person's 1984 Oldsmobile that had been smoked in with the windows up, since day 1. Clearly I wasn't expecting the Ritz. But a dirty room that doesn't hit you with a blast of smoke air, should be the least someone should expect... it's not like it was a rent by the hour motel. Don't stay here it may look okay online and the price was very appealing but I would have rather spent twice the amount just for a shower and better bed.

It was a quick trip for a family emergency. As a result, it worked out very nice. It was perfect for the price. The location was great. I- 95 is close by. I would not mind come back if there was a need.
