Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americas Best Value Inn - Richmond/San Francisco
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 1, 2012

It was a great hotel, and a great value for the price.

I would not recommend this hotel nor would
I stay there again. Not suitable at all for younger children as there were cords and chipping paint everywhere. The beds had no protective covering from spilled liquids or bed bugs. Almost didn't stay there until
I demanded a room with nothing falling off the walls but even then
I was still uncomfortable.

Pretty clean. Nice enough at the desk. Overcharged quite a bit on room. After it was too late to cancel without penalty. Overall not too bad, but i could have stayed a lot closer to my destination for the price
I had to pay.

Scummy hotel room. TV and remote did not work, key less entry did not work, electrical outlets sparked and torched my charger and they did not have covers on the outlets(code violation). This hotel does not even get a rating on my rating chart.

Overall, this was a poor hotel and we certainly would not stay there again. I was somewhat concerned, as it was also a poor neighborhood, even though it was close to freeways.

This hotel has seen better days. But we didn't expect a modern or beautiful hotel for the price we paid. There are virtually no ameneties other than a vending machine. But our room was large, quiet and clean. It even had a little refrigerator! I would stay here again.

I was in the area for a friend's wedding very nearby in El Cerrito (less than 10 minute drive), which was very convenient! The value is good at this hotel; I was traveling by myself and on a budget. This hotel offered a reasonable rate with adequate safety and comfort. The room had a few visible recent repairs that hadn't been repainted yet, but it was clean and comfortable. Older building, fixtures and decor yet not an eyesore or uncomfortable. ...
