Hotel Guest Reviews of the Americinn Motel & Suites Medora

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The rooms were new and the staff and ammenities were great.

Everything was great about the hotel; the rooms, staff and location. Medora was is a great western town to visit with friendly people and fantastic activities.

The only thing we liked was that we were staying in the badlands!
The staff who checked us in was beyond rude! The keys are confusing, the public spaces are hard to find, no ice maker on 2nd floor...also, trains go by throughout the night waking you from a dead sleep.

The hotel sits in a beautiful area but that's about it for positives...the staff are rude and you feel like you're inconveniencing them when you check in. It's like a scene from the Twilight Zone trying to find anything in that hotel. Postings are not accurate. Rooms were comfy but trains loudly go by throughout the night.

Modern, well-equipped and spacious rooms.
Hot water not hot enough for tea

I think this has been recently modernised and it shows. Nice coffee area in reception and guest laundry was better than usual. Elevator inconvenient for some rooms but not a big problem. Some train noise but it did not wake me and I'm a light sleeper.

Great room, pool; staff was exceptional. Daphnie (desk clerk) went far beyond what is expected -in very cold weather helped bring in luggage (cart was in use by someone else). She was personable, professional, sweet. Met owner - very nice, caring.
Nothing wrong - was one of our best hotel experiences ever.

Highly recommend. Nice pool and hot tub. Very comfortable room. Staff pleasant, considerate of our requests. We felt pampered and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A mistake was made on our reservation and the staff on duty when we arrived more than made up for the mistake by upgrading us, at no cost, to their presidential suite.
The bathroom floor had a build up of dirt/mud in the corners from improper cleaning over a period of time.

Though the bathroom showed signs of long term improper cleaning (mud build up in corners) the overall experience was great. The room was otherwise perfect and the staff were friendly and accomidating. The Breakfast was surprisingly nice.

The view from the pool was gorgeous!
The price.

The hotel was very nice. The beds were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. They served a variety of choices for the continental breakfast. The lobby and computer area was beautiful and comfortable. If I were to go to Medora next summer, I would probably stay in one of the neighboring towns because of the price.

Our room was attractive & spacious. More than enough room for 3 people.
No lounge.

Our room was very attractive & spacious. Our older daughter was traveling with us, and this room had a king bed, with 2 sleeper sofas. The layout of the room was fantastic; we could move around without worrying about bumping into anything. The room even had a hot tub.
