There were 3 issues that I did not like. 1st items was that there was nothing indicating that the whole place was no smoking. We booked that hotel because we thought we could have a room with smoking. 2nd, the side exit door did not lock. When I informed the \front desk I was told they knew about it and that was all. 3rd item was the hair dryer caught on fire. the manager indicated that we would bring another dryer but he didn't. ...read more

Be prepared to drive to local resturants/shopping due to high traffic area.

New, clean and close to lots of historical places.

Very warm and comfortable place to stay. Just off a main highway, and close to good shopping and restaurants.

I am not sure we would stay here again because the bed was sooo uncomfortable (so much so that my husband could not sleep) but every other part of the experience was great.

The hotel was very clean, has a beautiful lobby with fireplace. There are computers and desk you can use in the lobby. There is a very large indoor heated pool with a hottub. The staff was so friendly to me and very helpful when we learned we had forgotten shampoo. The hotel has plenty of parking. I was very surprised the next morning at the free breakfast, it had lots of choices including biscuit and gravy. They also offered healthy choices such as fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars, string cheese and cottage cheese.This hotel was a great deal for the price i paid. Great staff, lovely decor, room included everything you could need for your stay: fridge, microwave, coffee, iron and board, hair dryer, and in house laundry. Great free breakfast, waffles even biscuits and gravy! Hot tub and indoor pool.

I was comfortable it was clean and Comfortable. A bit pricey

I was very impressed with this hotel for the price. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The only thing that I would suggest improving is the laundry room. There is one washer and one dryer and the dryer was not very efficient. It took multiple runs through for clothes to dry. I was in town with my daughter's softball team and we had to wash uniforms so that is the only reason that this was an issue. The pool area is wonderful and there is a large lobby area with two different sitting areas. The breakfast area is nice. A more extensive breakfast selection would have been nice but it was definitely sufficient with biscuits and gravy, cereal and waffles. The maid that serviced our room was Laurie and she was wonderful. She was so sweet and helpful. She had the best attitude and we just loved her!!! ...read more
