Hotel Guest Reviews of the Amstel Botel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Delbert from Portland, OR

Reasonable price. Novel idea of staying on the canal without the price of a houseboat. Excellent breakfast. Clean room.
The room was a little on the small size. But...we were there just in the evening to sleep and take a shower, so the size was not too big of an issue. You do have to take the ferry to get back and forth, but the ferry is free and goes every 15 to 30 min.

Low light in the room, extremely small bathroom, too much noise - you only can sleep with ear protection.

The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a little older so it felt a bit dingy.

The boat is cool the (free) ferry ride over is worth more than the price of hotel.
It was all good.
Super cool boat hotel, with very nice-new, ultra modern, cafe/bar next door. Great ferry service over and back.

It was on the water.
Communication was not clear about where an how to get the ferry. We walked around for a long time!
