Hotel Guest Reviews of the Anaheim Marriott

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was clean. professional staff.
$24 per day for parking. No free wifi.

For a 4 star hotel there was nothing that made it stand out. Very basic/ small room. I'm sure it is great for conferences but for a family stay there really is no reason to stay here.

Proxcimity to Disneyland and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everything was great with the exception of the cleanliness factor in the bathroom.
The bathroom was gross. Three hairs on the toilet seat and several in the shower when we arrived. Normally, I would have complained, but we got in very late and by time we noticed,we were all in our PJs with several things unpacked.

Other than bathroom in our room not being clean, our stay was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond in several areas and were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in a convenient location.
The parking is horribly overpriced at $24/day vs. other hotels in the area at $12-$16/day. Internet is expensive at $12.95/day. Out of a 7 day stay...our room was not cleaned 3 days. Quality of towels and rooms is not up to 4 Star standards...3-3.5 max.

The Anaheim Marriott is conveniently located...however beyond that it has a number of issues. Priceline has rated this a 4 Star Hotel...and it is very much not a 4 Star hotel. The room quality, cleanliness, and quality of bedding and towels is more like a 3 Star hotel. The towels I found to be worn out and very small. Pillows were pretty bad and the bed was very uncomfortable. While they charge for parking and Internet which didn't surprise me...the amount they charge is excessive at $24/day for parking and $12.95 for Internet. The wireless Internet worked but wired Internet in my room was not functional. They also have a console to plug your laptop into the TV in the room...however the TV will not let you change the input to use the VGA input they have cabled. My room was not cleaned three out of seven days...even after calling the front desk to let them know I was leaving for the day and please clean my room (since it had been missed the day before). While I didn't find the walk to the parking garage to be bad, the parking garage has only one small working elevator which frequently was backed up with people waiting. The staff were mostly nice...however I was surprised by the bell staff. In most 4 Star hotels that they will run to open the door for you. Here they would stand to the side and talk with each other while you were was trying to push a stroller through the door. Overall...Priceline has overrated this hotel. I found myself really wanting to be across the street at the 3.5 Star rated Hilton that appeared to be a nicer hotel. I am disappointed I paid for a 4 Star hotel to have a nice room on the first vacation I have had in years and feel that I could have done much better at 3 or 3.5 Star hotels in the area. ...read more

Hotel pool access was through the bar...not very pleasant walking to and from the pool through the bar. Also, I expect hotel based cafes/restaurants to be expensive but their prices were more expensive than I would have expected...still good food!

The staff, the staff, the staff. Sooooo helpful and friendly.
No bueno for the double beds, even in the larger rooms on the concierge level.

We had a beautiful view of the fireworks at Disneyland every night. It was great for the kids.
We were not told about the Concierge lounge and did not learn about it until our day. The lounge is great but we would have liked to use it sooner than our last day.

The rooms were spacious with decent sized bathrooms. Beds were comfortable.
Parking is $24/day- a little on the spendy side.

We stayed here for a Disneyland vacation. The hotel was within walking distance to the Disneyland entrance. However, if I was with small children, I would opt to purchase the shuttle.

The staff except for valet staff. The staff at the bell desk and front desk were quick, but still were able to give us there full attention like we were the only ones there at the hotel.
The valet staff was quick with getting the car, but that is it. No attentiveness to the guest.

Don't judge this place by the outward appearance. The inside is renovated, clean and modern. My wife liked the fact that there is a full Starbucks inside the hotel. Their pool is nice, half inside and half outside, which was nice when bring in the sun got too hot. There was also more than one person taking orders for food and drinks at the pool. Overall since this hotel is right by the Convention Center and across from the Hilton, they realize people are usually in a hurry and they have staffed right for that. ...read more

Very comfortable room with nice balcony overlooking the pool! Loved the prompt shuttle service to Disneyland!
The sliding glass doors to the outside balcony were very hard to move! They need to be replaced!
