Hotel Guest Reviews of the Andaz Savannah - A Hyatt Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 10, 2013

Our room was beautiful and very clean. The beds were unbelievably soft and comfortable. Within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. The pool was heated and very nice. A great place to stay!

By far my favorite hotel experience. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was so comfortable, everything was super clean. We were offered complimentary wine while we checked in. Check in was smooth and easy and was done while I sat in a comfy chair and sipping on wine. Our room had a large bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower, double sinks, granite counters. Very pretty, modern but welcoming. We had a sofa and a chair with ottoman that even had a throw blanket on it. The minibar/kitchenette was stocked with plates and wine glasses, a fridge full of coke, diet coke, water, juice, beer, and wine. There were three alcohol options, a good vodka, gin, and Jack Daniels, each cost $25 but they were pints. Still very expensive but better than an $8 shot. They also had chocolate, a cereal bar, and a bag of chips. All complimentary except for alcohol. We had a large flat screen in the living area and another one in the bedroom. The bed was SO comfortable! The bedroom also had a docking station for our iphone/ipod and it played loud enough to be heard throughout the suite. This hotel is located right on Ellis square and close to everything! I will for sure stay at the Andaz on my next trip to Savannah. ...

I know I'm going to love a hotel with they offer a complementary (adult) beverage when checking in. The trendy rooms were equipped with a clock with ipod/iphone dock for charging/playing music, a safe big enough to hold a laptop (rare), and complementary goodies. We walked everywhere...river front, city market, and civic center for concert. The location was very convenient. And all the staff we dealt with were very friendly and eager to help. ...

Balcony with fire pit was nice. Beds very comfortable. Room was fancy for this farm boy. No free breakfast like the Comfort Inn that was only a 3 star. They did give us a bag of peanuts and some candy free. Overall a very nice experience.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Andaz and we wouldn't hesitate booking it again if we find ourselves in Savannah. The staff was amazing and super helpful. We realized we forgot to pack toothpaste and the nearby CVS was already closed. They were not able to find any toothpaste but sent up some Scope and toothbrushes for us which was very nice. The non-alcoholic beverages and the snacks in the room were complimentary and you are also welcome to the items in their pantry. Everyone was super nice to us and made us feel very welcome. The location is amazing and I couldn't believe how close everything was! I recommend parking at the Whitaker Street Garage if you want to save a little on parking. It is pretty much right across the street from the hotel so not a huge inconvenience. ...
