Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ardsley Acres Hotel Court

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location, helpful staff, big breakfast
Met my expectations. Older but refurbished nicely. This hotel has been well used (dings in the wall), but it felt clean and safe.

Went with my husband and two young daughters for a cousin's wedding. Only needed the room for a place to sleep, and it fit the need quite well. Loved that it had a microwave and a refrigerator in the room. Very convenient location - there are two great parks in Irvington (about 15 minutes away) on the Hudson River with a super playground (northern park) and a wonderful view of Manhattan (southern park). We had time on the morning of the wedding, and the parks and the drive through the neighborhoods were memorable in a good way. When we arrived at the room to our non-smoking hotel, there was a distinct smell of old cigarette smoke. A quick call to the front desk, and we were given the keys to a new room that had no bad smells. It was quite painless. In summary, it was a very affordable place to sleep for two nights, and we would visit there again. ...read more

The bathroom looked like a public bathroom. The cleaning person tried to get into my room while I was in there despite the lock being locked. The drains were slow. The toilet didn't flush well.

Proximity to NYC, decent price, and microwave/fridge = good deal.
The rooms looked shabby.

Proximity to NYC, decent price, and microwave/fridge = good deal. Rooms are a bit shabby, but its a motel so you expect that.

I was shocked to find that this was a motel, not a hotel. My initial disappointment was quelled by the fact that the room wasn't decorated like a typical motel, especially the bedding.
I did not like feeling bamboozled. Even though I enjoyed my stay, I was displeased that this is actually a motel, not a hotel.

The hotel, although a little far out for me was clean, up to date and quiet.
I enjoyed staying there. It was definitely a great stay.

It was cheap.
It smelled of cigarette smoke.

You're not picking this hotel (which is really a motel) because you're getting the Ritz for a good deal. Its a cheap hotel, but its nice convenient and clean. I was there for 2 nights and the worst thing was the room reeked of cigarette smoke. But please trust me when I tell you as a woman that travels there are worse places I've stayed at.
