Good hotel, OK amenities, small rooms, and a staff that makes you feel guilty for asking. 4 star location, 3 star rooms, and 2 star staff.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Staff was very helpful. We had a great view of Alcatraz and our friends of the Golden Gate Bridge. Loved the drinks and appetizers in the lobby daily and the hot cocoa on the chilly afternoons. The hotel was clean and in good repair. The building is old but all furnishings, TV, etc are new.

Great place, friendly staff and perfect location. I plan to stay there again in the future. My only complaint is that I could hear a lot of outside noise and noise from the adjoining rooms inside my rooms especially at night. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent hotel, great staff. Great location. Most people there are in their 40s + so it's kind of difficult to have a romantic evening at the bar if you are in your 20s.
