Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ayres Hotel & Spa Mission Viejo

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Hotel was fine.
No

Only issue, Priceline rating was 3 and a half stars, this place is a solid 3, nothing more!

Great, clean room with very nice decor and two flat screens with 100 channels. Great made to order omelets and breakfast. Beautiful views.
It is right off of a toll road but a bit far from other freeways.

I was greeted with genuine warmth by Tanya at the front desk who gave me multiple room options which were all impeccably clean. The room had a nice dry bar with a microwave and mini fridge, comfortable separate seating area with a fold out couch bed, and work area desk. Good WiFi. The property has a very good restaurant on site and a wonderful courtyard that reminded me of a Tuscan villa. All staff were quite nice and helpful. Nice pool and hot tub area with stunning views of the surroundings. Grocery store is right next door as is a delicious Italian restaurant, Piccolino, and sushi place, Shabu. Great stay. ...read more

Large, quiet room with view of the courtyard worked very well for us for the 5 day stay. Courtyard is wonderful and I loved the staff. Also the full breakfast is terrific!
I did use the spa, but found them difficult to get in touch with. No one was in the spa for the first 3 days of stay - I had to get in touch by cell phone, and then they couldn't talk to me because they were in a meeting, so had to text me. Inconvenient.

Excellent value for money, staff is simply awesome. Very quiet. none of the usual slamming of doors morning and night. I am fussy about hotels, and this one was awesome. pillows, linens, quality of the bed, you name it - nothing was a problem everything was easy! But the really terrific part was the complimentary wifi and business center printing ( I had to mail things every day, so printing shipping labels was a breeze). Location was convenient to everything we needed, and though the initial directions led us to the hotel via the toll road, we found very easy routes to avoid the toll road thereafter. I plan to stay here again. ...read more

Rooms are large and decorated very nice.
The deposit was $125. Which was more than the room.I have never had a deposit over $75 even at 5 star hotels. The front desk employee was not friendly and not willing to budge on the deposit. 9pm & I had to call bank to allow charge over my daily limit

So if you stay here make sure you haven't spent your daily charge limit and leave $125 available for every night you are staying. Because they won't take a cash deposit ! Very disappointing for a 3.5 star hotel . Not accommodating and not friendly . I contacted Priceline and they couldn't get him to negotiate either.

The common areas are very pretty and the staff was helpful at every turn.
Limited in house dining opportunities. Freeway noise could be a problem. It wasn't for us because we were in an inside facing room.
