Tropical surroundings.
Beds are very old. Need new bedding and larger more comfortable beds. Spa was not warm enough.

I found this hotel/resort Tops .The staff VERY courteous the rooms very large and clean the beds very comfortable.The overall experience was excellent

The location of the hotel as well as the set up of the room, great view of the bay. We have stayed at the Bahia before and will definitely return.
Rooms are a bit older and slightly outdated.

The bay suite rooms are fairly large and they have a small kitchenette which comes in very handy. Slightly older rooms but still a nice hotel. The staff were all friendly, no complaints

The room had fairly fresh paint.
A pig with lipstick. Mattress was out of a flophouse.

This was a totally unacceptable experience and no where near a three star hotel. Fresh paint and wallpaper can not cover up a 50 year old room and a flop house mattress is not acceptable.

Location, design, size of room, parking close to room, private beach, beautiful landscape & grounds.
Hotel badly needs renovation. Decor and tile worn, TV & phones old (need flat screen HD's), exterior damage. Need assigned parking and robes in room.

I enjoyed my stay and would stay again, but the hotel would benefit from a full renovation. I would pay higher rates to stay if it was updated, because the location is perfect for a San Diego beach stay. Refrigerator/Freezer in room was convenient. It would be nice if they had robes in the room for guests.

I liked the view of Mission Bay and the tropical landscape.
First room toilet didn't flush, bed was terrible.

This Hotel needs to upgrade the older rooms and put in new beds. The tower on the north side is excellent our bed was comfortable and our toilet flushed. However the trash had not been dumped and there were lots of cigarettes butts in the can. We asked for a non smoking room. Don't order onion rings from the restaurant they are horrible. The breakfast are very good and dinners. Pool and Jacuzzi are great. The jungle walk is also fun. I love this hotel it just needs a little tlc. ...read more

Very nice sized condo style unit.2 bra, 2 TV's, kitchen&
Musty until we opened the slider; then it was fine.

These will most likely be condos one day. Huge square footage, spacious, nice kitchen. Nice bar in hotel, kind of Spanish style decorations&
