Hotel Guest Reviews of the Banff Park Lodge
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 25, 2013

This hotel is in an excellent area. No traffic noise, easy walking to everything. Lovely brunch available on Sundays for a reasonable price. Swimming pool can be noisy with kids but just go after 9pm. Wish hot tub was hotter but all in all, I will stay here again. Warm ambiance in the lobby area and staff in all areas greet you. Very nice. I love it.

The location is great for walking around Banff. The staff was kind and helpful and the public spaces were very nice. The rooms looked old and worn but were clean and had a decent amount of space.

They charge extra for internet and extra for parking. I hated this hotel mainly because when the paid-for internet connection did not work they referred me to an 877 number which told me to keep pressing 1, or I would be disconnected. Then the line went dead. When I told the hotel clerks about this, they seemed totally aloof. We went to Starbucks, and bougt two coffees for way less than the price of their internet service and got our work done. ...

Friendliest restaurant staff in town. Excellent food. Don't miss the elk dish.

The hotel was in a great location within minutes of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was very nice and clean. The rooms were a good size. It was more than I was expecting.

We enjoyed our short stay and the price we got was exceptional in light of the fact that it was the August long weekend. We attended a wedding at the Banff Springs Hotel and paid less than 1/2 of the room cost there.
