Although the outside appearance of the motel leaves room for improvement, the conditions change once you see the inside of the fresh room. The owner ( 3rd generation ) was so nice and helpful. I felt it was a great value.

Family Traveling with Teens
Hotel is older but reasonably well equipped. Our room was clean. Staff was not particularly helpful nor did they seem concerned about encouraging guests to return for future visits. No pool but there is a swimming area in the bay within walking distance.

Family Traveling with Young Children
When I checked in, the clerk(owner I assume)told me she had a king bed for us. I told her we needed 2 double beds because we had 2 adults and 2 children. She showed me a Priceline printout showing 2/0 meaning 2 people only. Showed her my printout guaranteeing room with double beds to accommodate 4 people. She told me She didn't like that they were different. Told her I didn't either and hers was wrong. Later that night, guests from adjoining room opened our door. Had trouble securing door.
