Hotel Guest Reviews of the Barton Creek Resort & Spa

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The driveway at our villa was way to steep.

Great location to get away from the congestion of Austin but close enough to be in the middle of it in 20 minutes. Beautiful grounds and decor. Lots of choices for activities.

The tranquility room in the 3 Springs Spa was a delightful touch.
When booking our spa time, the staff person who took my call was not friendly. Make sure you get a total price for your stay so you don't get shocked when the bill arrives. Lot's of hidden charges.

Hotel is nice, definately geared toward golfers and those who love to exercise. The 3 Springs Spa was nice, a little overpriced for what you get. It is a huge property, so it didn't have a "warm" feel to it. I would not go again for a romantic weekend.

The hotel's common spaces were nice. The grounds were nice. The staff was friendly. The gym was great though did not utilize the pool
+ Noisy and drunk neighbors, loud music! We were repeatedly woken up by people wandering the halls. The next morning spoke with the front desk person about it at checkout - they gave us 25$ off which covered resort fees. + Long way to walk for

This hotel was OK for one night. We came in from out of town and were hoping for a quiet and relaxing experience in the beautiful hill country - especially as this resort bills itself as a spa as well. We were disappointed in the general vibe.

Good room, nice buffet breakfast, helpful staff.
We had reserved a king room. We were originally put in a room with a queen Murphy bed. We asked for a change and the staff was helpful but it took a couple hours to get that done.

Nice hotel, distant from the center of Austin, but surrounded by golf courses. Good rooms and an attentive staff. Expensive Internet access in the rooms.

Room and bed quite comfortable. Bottled water in the room for $9 a bottle! We skipped that!
It is a bit out of town but if you want to play golf or tennis it's fantastic. However, when I checked at a round of golf cost it was approx $100.

Overall, it's a 9 out of 10. Got a great deal with priceline.

The views of the Hill Country.
The parking lot was way too far frokm the hotel (approximately 1/2 mile uphill).

The Barton Creek Resort and Spa is an amazing facility. The views are tremendou. However, the parking garage is way to far and downhill. It would have been appropriate for the staff to provide golf cart service to and from the garage.
