Baymont Inn & Suites Orlando - Universal Studios

The price was very reasonable, good location and nice place to stay.

Rooms are a good size and clean. Pool is super small and not useful for anything but getting wet. Breakfast isn't bad but you must get there early before the crowd hits. It is a very good value for the money. Close enough to universal to walk if so desired.

The hotel is strategically located across the street from Universal Studios and it provides a limited continental breakfast. The first evening of our two evening stay our fire alarm started chirping periodically which required us to call the desk for help. The desk manager came up and at first suggested that he would have the battery replaced the next day. However, changed his mind when he saw our expressions. He came back within 30 minutes with a new battery. Also, the bathroom had broken floor tiles and the tub was dirty/worn?? Also, on the first morning the hair dryer didn't work. I did notify the front desk that morning and it was fixed by the time we returned that evening. Overall, for us the bathroom seemed in need of an overhaul. Since we only used the room to sleep in, it worked for my wife and I. It was not an expensive room so we anticipated some of the inadequacies of the room. The parking lot seemed adequate. If you want to be close to Universal Studios this is the place.

It would have been better if I was a tourist, but since I was there on business I did not get to enjoy the location as much.

This hotel is in a great location right across from Universal and very close to restaurants. The rooms are clean as always (third time staying) the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad at all to say about this hotel and I will definitely stay there again.

I thought the hotel was priced appropriately. The staff was very accommodating, and pleasant to us. The hotel was very close to the parks and I would stay there again next time we go to Orlando!

Staff was very helpful. Free basic breakfast until 9am. Free parking. Some friends were staying nearby in another hotel and had to pay for daily parking. Close to restaurants and Universal. Safe location.
