Hotel Guest Reviews of the The Beach Retreat & Lodge At Tahoe
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.November 15, 2012

Good value with the close proximity to the lake and warm and family environment. Make sure you get the top floor so that you don't have to hear the occupant above. Very noisy.

Very good hotel for family or couple, right on the beach and
easy access. Only an hour to/from Reno.

This hotel had a cute, comfortable and clean interior with a fireplace. Parking was very convenient and the room had a nice patio. The grounds were well maintained. It was close to the beach and pier with dining.

I would not stay in the Timber Cove Lodge again, nor recommend it. The room was extremely cramped and dark. The bathroom was in ill repair. I was appointed in the style of a public gas station bathroom. The coffee maker was so dirty I was afraid to use it. The window mounted AC was extremely loud. We did not eat in the two available restaurants, but they looked bright and pleasant. The hotel's location on the beach is lovely, although the grounds are quite unattractive, and poorly maintained.

Was much nicer than I had expected. Being a pet friendly hotel I expected stinky rooms and shabby interiors. Did not encounter either. The hotel is right on the lake and you have your own beach. The cute fireplaces and balconies make the room seem more than just a hotel room. Although not luxurious, I certainly enjoyed my stay and would go back.
