Hotel Guest Reviews of the Bell Channel Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff is really outstanding, friendly and helpful. We ate most of our meals at the restaurant the "Upstairs", the food was really great and very affordable.
The hotel seems to be in the process of a much needed update. The furnishings lacked, bed sagged, carpet needs to be replaced or better yet replaced with tile.

The hotel is currently being spruced up, they have more to do. The furnishings are old and need to be replaced (bed, pictures, bed spreads, etc). For the price it is very adequate. It is a 15 minute walk to Port Lucaya Marketplace. The staff is 1st class, friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar had wonderful food, we ate most of our meals there. We didn't go in the pool, it was very clean but not heated...to cold. Larry & Dottie Feb 2013 ...read more

There was a nice restaurant inside the hotel. The room was very clean.
No phone service to the U.S.! Concierge on 1st night was not helpful, but the others were much better.

This hotel was scary at first, because the concierge on duty when I arrived was very cold and unhelpful. She was not at all sympathetic to the fact that I was a woman traveling alone and was not able to call home on the night I arrived because there was no phone service from there to the U.S. Also, the hotel was not as conveniently located as I had expected and they should have provided shuttle service to the Port Lucaya Marketplace, and beach, but they did not. Therefore, I had to use expensive cab services to get to and from the main tourist attraction. ...read more

Friendly staff. Knew who you were on check in. Restaurant and bar in central location, dock.

31 unit motel. Staff , restaurant, bar, front desk, dive operator went out of there way to make you feel welcomed, and make your stay enjoyable. All rooms had balcony with chairs and table that over looked pool and inlet. Bugs were not a problem. Rooms have door on street side and balcony with cross ventilation , AC didn't have to be used if you didn't want to.
