Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Andersens Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Rooms were not nice, not clean, and their air conditioning did not work. It was a stuffy room with no air conditioning. I paid $20 a night for a pet friendly room. The room reeked of Dog/Pet Urine.
The continental breakfast was poor. No room to sit in the eating area. They did not permit you to take food to your room. You had to stand around and hold your food.

Not a nice place to stay. Truckers park right next door to the rooms and you hear their trucks stopping, starting and going all night. The rooms are not nice, don't go by the pictures, the rooms are not like the pictures. I was very disappointed. I was shocked because most Best Westerns are nice most of the time.

My room was somewhat clean, although not what I was thinking it would be considering the number of times I've stayed there.
My room was on the lower floor and designed for a disabled person. The air conditioner worked, but I thought it would fall apart, it had a remote control, but it was so dirty I didn't want to touch it. The bed was comfy, but I woke up with bugs crawling

I would still recommend this hotel, as I've stayed there many times without incident..... however, they really need to do something about the 1/2" long bugs crawling around on the bed and you around 2 in the morning. First time that has happened to me. There were also candy wrappers behind the night stand where I had to plug in my phone charger....I was disappointed this time to say the least. ...read more

Conveniently located on I5. We were traveling from one end of California to the other.
The bathroom was outdated. Hot and cold were reversed in the shower. Handicap shower arrangement, which we did not need or want. Door plate on door handle was filthy, as if it had never been wiped off.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was large, bed was comfortable.
Needed more staff for check in-large line- and one staff for check in, phones etc.The staff member was so busy yet remained calm, efficient, and kind. I was impressed by her abilities!

Great place to stay when traveling on highway 5. I would stay again!

It is in a good stopover location.

This hotel is dated. That is not a criticism - I am no spring chicken either. We were looking for a place to stop on our trip, get a night's sleep and a hot shower in the morning, and somewhere to get breakfast. We got that, at a fair price. I don't think anyone thinks of Santa Nella as a destination, but it was conveniently located for us on our journey down I-5.

Helpful staff, easy to find, Free parking
It was a perfectly good property for the price.

Hotel is next to the freeway but that did not cause any sleeping issues. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was limited but worked for just a quick bite before I had to hit the road.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. When we couldn't get into our first room she quickly found us another room and was very helpful.

Easily accessible from the 5, with the Andersen's Split Pea Soup restaurant within walking distance. The big windmill from the restaurant always feels a lighthouse welcoming us to a restful night.

Location
Room location. Room location (closest room to freeway). Next to truck stop. I felt that they gave me the worst room in the place because i booked the room on Priceline. The motel is largely for truck drivers.

Do not take room # 101 thru 109.
