Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Bastrop Pines Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location.
When I booked I booked for double occupancy. I was charged for asking for 2 queens instead of having a king. My mother and I prefer seperate beds. If it had been for me and my husband it would have been fine. I won't be booking there again.

They charge you extra if you make a special request.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were just there late night and left early in the morning so we didn't eat breakfast or use the facilities the hotel had.

Great location, decent price, nice breakfast
Front desk person was absent for quiet some time taking care of some other problem on another floor. This delayed our departure.

No frills hotel for reasonable price, free and ample parking and in a good location. It is within walking distance of a small Chilis.

Good breakfast buffet. Motel did have indoor corridor room access.

Located near variety of restaurants and shopping. Hwy road construction forced us to go a mile past, then back to the other side of the road where the motel was located. Not the easiest location.

Staff was not friendly, only gave us one key, had to ask about amenities, our shower was aweful, room smelled.
Our room was a handicap room, had a chair in shower that did not fold up well so you had to put it down just so you did not hit it while showering. When down it took up over half the shower, shower curtain was not enough so water was all over floor after

Breakfast was actually surprisingly good, GREAT deal, beds were more comfortable than the resort we stayed in once we got to Austin.
Because of construction on the freeway and night, difficult to find. Coming back from Austin in the day it was. . .plain as day.

The rooms were extremely clean and nice. Location was great also.

Rooms were great... very clean. Thought I was doing a good thing by conserving water and not having them was the bed linens, but they didn't even make the beds! Next time, won't worry about being "green".

Very clean and modern, both the room and public areas, also quiet environment. Pleanty of hot water and good internet connection.
Location...hard to find initially (behind Home Depot).

There were no negative surprises. Book here with confidence.
