Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Bayou Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Excellent location - you are in the French Quarters in 20 mins . Amenities are better for half the price that of the French Quarter hotels.

I stayed at a French quarter hotel for 3 days then moved to this one as was paying a lot for parking fees, extra add ons for the boutique hotels there. Enjoyed my stay here at this hotel .

Breakfast was very poor, very few options and stale cereal.

This hotel was far off the beaten path. The staff was not very friendly.

I liked that they actually felt sorry for me when we had no where to stay that night because Priceline didn't do their job and I had no room.
There was no where for us to stay.

The hotel would have been fine.
To find there was no room available for us, and we almost spent the night in our car. Thanks for NOTHING! your service is a JOKE! Our entire evening was ruined, dinner with friends, all canceled in a despairing attempt to find a place to stay. If your company can't even do it's job, booking hotel rooms and guaranteeing a place for us to stay.

Nothing.
Rooms were not ready by 4:00pm,Kids running in hallway, Room smelled like smoke, No toiletries because shipment hadn't come.

Location was OK. Couldn't get a bill with total amount. Just not nice enough for the money.

Kitchen staff was nice. Breakfast was pretty good.
The smell, desk staff, location of pool, and overall location of hotel compared to downtown.

Hotel served our needs for the Mardi Grass festival. Overall, it's not worth more than $50 to $60 per night. The only amenity the hotel offers is complementary breakfast. No one will use the pool since it's in the parking lot and it's far away from most attractions.

Cheaper than staying in New Orleans.
My room was above the laundry room and the whole thing shook uncomfortably.

If you're budget conscious, this is the place for you. You'll get a room and hot water. It's not nearly as close to New Orleans as I was under the impression it was. Didn't get to wander the place much so I can't speak about anything else that was there.

Price was excellent. Breakfast was very good.
Bathroom needs refreshing.

Pricing was very good, however, standard accommodation at best. Beds were comfortable, but bathroom needs refreshing.

For the most part the staff was cordial and helpful.
it did not meet my level of expectations for the amount of money I spent and the views from the hotel was unattractive.
