Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Culpeper Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

good location, helpful staff, excellent breakfast
The air conditioner/heating unit had a wheezing quality. Room 121

Good location, good to above average room, excellent breakfast, poor maintenance on air conditioner/heating unit, above average staff, above average public spaces

The staff was friendly and the room very clean.
I call it a motel not a hotel because you enter your room from the outside and not a hallway. The room was small compared to today's newer hotels.

It was clean and the staff friendly. The rooms were small but well appointed.

Good location
The Staff was not helpful when rebooking for another night. Had to reserve on-line to get discount. This is after snow storm when power was out for 10 hrs. They did not offer to walks us to our room with a light. Did not offer a flashl

Good luck if any happens out of the ordinary. They do not know how to react. The
staffing in the restaurant is something else. Had to find anyone. They seem to be always out back. Food is okay not the best.

The hotel was well represented online, with a reasonable price and all the amenities that we wanted. It was near Skyline Drive and downtown Culpeper attractions. The shopping and great food made it the perfect birthday getaway for my wife and me.
We would have preferred an internal room. But that didn't diminish our enjoyment with all the other features, which included a glass enclosed entryway. We also prefer pet friendly hotels because we love to trave with our little Pomeranian.

The hotel staff made us feel welcome unpon arrival. We love the quaint shops and the historic structures of this old town. The residents are generally very friendly and helpful. We like to use the town as a base as we explore other nearby attractions and historical sites. The Christmas open house is an annual must. And we have enjoyed both planned and unplanned tours of nearby battlefields, plus wine tastings, cruising yard sales, and exploring local antiques shops. After a nice day shopping, sight seeing and eating great sea food at a new restaurant next to the market, we refreshed ourselves at the hotel bar. Then we headed back to the room to check email and relax before going to bed. The next morning we were treated to a hot breakfast buffet that fortified us for a relaxing trip back to Maryland. ...read more

The hotel was priced well but is not a three star. There is a Holiday Inn Express next door that is a 2.5 star. The two should be reversed.

Very loud guests. Cleanliness of room poor

Spend the extra money for the holiday inn next door. Belive me it's worth the extra money. It was a low quality hotel with quests alike.

It was average. I thought three star would be a little nicer. In the restaurant you had to wait for someone to seat you.

Cleanliness.
Yo

I would stay here again and again if the clean rooms and very friendly staff are the same. My stay was super comfortable and there was nothing I needed that wasn't supplied.

Breakfast was included with the room price, and the buffet was well-stocked with a variety of breakfast foods.
The rooms on the parking lot side are noisy.

This is a fine hotel for an overnight stop. It was a clean, and basic room for a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and efficient.
