The evening staff was extremely courteous and extremely helpful. Rooms was very nice.
The only negative I can think of was the non-refundable reservation condition when I paid online.

If you are traveling on the Eastern Shore and want to stay at an excellent hotel with a great staff, very clean rooms and an outstanding bkfst, lunch or dinner place called the Sage, located steps away... and if you want a complimentary hotel breakfast (eggs, bacon, waffles, etc.) this hotel rates tops.

check out. for using priceline, it would have been better to just go there and book there. there is no microwave or ice box. we had to ask and demand.

1st room smelled & the staff helped relocate us to a nicer room as soon as we asked.
Room smelled.

We stopped here with two young children to break up the ride from Philadelphia to the Outer Banks. It was a convenient location to stop. The first room they put us in on the first floor by the pool smelled musty and wasn't very nice. My father got a much nicer room (maybe because he did not have children with him?) that did not smell. We asked to switch & they did have another room next to my father. He had a refrigerator and microwave in his room, we did not. They explained these are extras and the maintenance man had forgotten to remove these from the room. Continental breakfast was fine in the morning and the staff was nice & helpful. There isn't much to do in Ex more, but there is a decent diner next door. In the future I will not book anything under 3 stars. It has a door entrance that locked after dark. People had to be buzzed in.
Th pool was not very enticing.

It was clean and pleasant to stay in. It wasn't built for romance. It was what I expected.

Location but price could be cheaper. No mini fridge and microwave.
Price because there's no fridge, microwave or jacuzzi tub.

Hotel needs to improve their breakfast.
