Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Gold Country Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Real food at breakfast.
Highway noise.

It seems that you can't stay anywhere for less price. This was close to that, but was clean, nice and had eggs and real food for breakfast. pretty grounds, but close to highway so you had noise. staff was friendly.

The hotel was fairly quiet.
Run down, not up to par. This hotel reminded me of a travelodge. Popcorn ceiling. Old furnishings. Not all that clean. No elevator. It was priced too.

I do not recommend this hotel.

Price and cleanliness.
Our room smelled very mildew, damp even though it looked nice and clean.

Pleasant grounds, attractive lobby, very friendly staff, good accommodations, clean room
Did not tell us when booking that pool & jacuzzi out of order-went out of our way to buy bathing suit we forgot to pack

Meets all expectations of the rating, very pleasant grounds.

Nice grounds, outside eating area, nicely decorated and clean rooms, very nice breakfast menu.
Early morning awakening with loud motorcycles both mornings-idling motors outside door-very hard to get enough sleep.

This hotel would be great if there was some way to keep motorcyclists from starting engines and idling them in front of rooms. Keep motorcycles in separate area away from parking lot for rooms. At least request that motorcyclists not idle engines outside of rooms. Good sleep is important when driving and trying to enjoy trip!

Clean.
Breakfast area was small and crowded.

It was alright, just not the romantic get-a-way I was hoping for. Spa was down for construction.

Very friendly and helpful, clean, had a computer room to print my airline tickets, and great breakfast.

This hotel was on a quiet street, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Their complimentary breakfast is great, not just rolls, there were eggs, sausages, cereals, coffee or juice, etc.
