Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Grand Venice Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was very friendly and helpful!
The hotel was clean but shabby.

The girl at the front desk was great! Very helpful and nice. The hotel is older and a bit shabby, but it is clean. You can tell it was really nice in the 90's. The room is the same. Breakfast was good. All and all a good stay.

The room was huge, breakfast was decent (waffles), staff very friendly.
We seriously considered not staying because of the surrounding area.

Very mixed experience. Several miles off of I-81. Felt like a questionable area. Huge hotel. Looking closely, I think it was very recently renovated, but it didn't feel like it (maybe b/c decor was more old - school/traditional). Gigantic room, very comfortable bed. Probably would try another hotel in the area before returning.

Quick access to major highways.

This hotel reminds me of the Titanic just before it sunk. The attached 125 room motel and pool are abandoned ruins. The attached nightclub and liquor store are beginning to look rundown. The sheets, gas station, one block away heading into town has a security guard on duty.

Excellent customer service.
Starting to show its age, I'd recommend replacing the lobby carpet.

It's OK.
I had a do not disturb sign and they ignored it. Go figure.

Staff and help were very friendly and efficient.
Lack of suitable restaurants in area.

Good accommodation for the price.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.
The odor of the hotel room was smoky and the toilet did not flush properly.

Great hotel for passing through , would not do an extended stay . Clean but the room smelled of smoke and the light switches did not work. Overall the staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was as to be expected.

Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Free parking.
It would be more convenient if closer to the interstate.

I love the waffles at breakfast.

I have been there a few times, the staff are friendly and helpful. We needed a couple of things and the staff were very quick to help.I also like the check out time is at noon and not earlier.

Do not go on weekend night partiers screaming and fighting all night.

Hotel has bar with bands. Patrons party loudly fight and swear in hallways. Management is aware and does not really care.
