The hotel sits next to the interstate and I was placed in a room that on that side. The room was extremely noisey and I was going to ask to be moved but I had to cancel my plans due to illness in my family. The carpet and the chairs in the room were nasty
I would not recommend this hotel due to its location... Extremely noisey...Carpet and chairs in my room were nasty.

Free continental breakfast, friendly staff.
There is a strip club across the road from the hotel. Upon arriving there was a Hugh Hefner look-a-like with two women in the lobby. May be a concern for families with children.
The room was clean overall. The elevator was very noisy, was a bit unnerving using it to get to the top (5th) floor with so much noise. The staff helping us upon check in was very friendly. It was a nice surprise that the room had a mini refrigerator and microwave. The continental breakfast had more that expected, and was satisfying. Would stay again.

Nothing. It was more disappointed than satisfied.
Cheap. Apparent upgrades/ renovations were attempted, but signs of old/way rooms/hotel was before clearly stood out.
I would not recommend, nor will stay there again.

The rooms were spacious.
I tried to check in an hour and a half early and as told I would have to pay additional $30 to do so. I stay in fort lauderdale 4 times a month for 4 years now and never was treated so rudely. Actually never fill out this kind of stuff.
Pick another hotel. The Best Western Plus in Dania is my recommendation
