Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Huntington Mall Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 25, 2013

Close to the Mall. Plenty of resturants available nearby. Quiet, plenty of lighting outside. I felt comfortable and safe. The room was clean and I did not see any bugs.

I was surprised they don't like locals to book at their hotel. My boyfriend lives with his mother (good grief) and I wanted to spend New Years with him so he wouldn't have to drive to Charleston after he worked a double shift at the restaurant that day. I had a nice stay. Very nice Hotel!

This hotel is running a scam. When I checked the room out there was a big roach in the middle of the room that ran under the furniture when I turned the light on. This hotel is used mainly by construction workers and is not a decent place for families. The room was too bad to stay the night so we left. Checked for a room in three other hotels in the area and they were all full. This was the only hotel with a vacancy and now I know why.

I would stay here again, having the fridge and microwave were a bonus, that we don't normally see in more expensive hotels. Carpeting in hallway needs to either be cleaned or replaced, the stale cigarette smell (although this is a non smoking facility) detracts from the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

If I was working out of town by myself, it would be an ok overnight stay.

I thought I had gotten a great price for a Best Western Hotel. This hotel made me rethink the quality of Best Western hotels. The hotel had no Wi-Fi. The one lobby computer and printer was broken. The hallways to the rooms had that old and crappy feeling. The room was clean, but the carpet was torn, old, and dirty feeling. The walls were paper thin. You could hear everything in the hallway. I could hear those in other rooms taking showers. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The old air conditioner was loud. Wait, could this be a Hotel 6.

One night barking dog next door was vocal and jumping on the door until 2 a.m., and apparently vibrated the security lock shut. from 2 a.m. to after 3:30 am. hotel staff and room renter were trying to force the door open, awakening and disturbing all rooms around it.

The hotel was nice and very clean. I will stay there again if traveling but I will book my own room.
