Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus John Muir Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location, comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast.

I loved the location. Great bed, clean room, loved the waffles and sausage for breakfast. Only disappointment was the pool was not heated as was mentioned. I would stay again though, all else made up for it.

Nothing
Poop in toilet, spit and tooth paste in bathroom, dirty bathroom, unhelpful staff, size of rooms, and the cleanliness.

If you are looking for a hotel that doesn't clean the bathrooms including leaving fecal matter in the toilets, spit and toothpaste all over counter and mirror. Then this is your place. Staff that is so unhelpful, that I could have had more help if I talked to the wall. And if you are not sold on this place, then this part will intrigue you. Hotel staff giving keys to rooms that still have guests from the night before in them. ...read more

Great continental breakfast; comfy bed; hot shower.
Awkward bathroom door; loose door locks; non-hotel occupants loitering the hall ways hanging out with the staff.

Granted it's not the Ritz, but it is nice to stay; great continental breakfast; comfy beds; hot water; free Internet. Only stayed one night.

Good location with plenty of eateries in the immediate area.
rooms are not large, and facility is a bit outdated.

Offers breakfast and is comfortable for a short, quick stay. Available parking by entrances is not great and the elevator is a little slow. Facility could use some upgrades, but reasonable for what I paid.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and staff was very helpful to change to non-smoking room.

This was my second visit to this hotel with multiple nights each time. I will be returning in the future as service and comfort has been excellent each time. Staff was helpful and immediately changed me to a non-smoking room when requested.

It served its purpose.
Furniture and linens looked old and worn.

It serves it's purpose as a place to shower and sleep, and the complimentary breakfast is ok. The furniture and towels and linens I the room seemed quite old and worn.
