Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Northwest Indiana

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was close to major highway, not far from Chicago.
In less than desirable area, strip bar 2 doors down. Leave family at home.

It was clean and the staff was friendly.
The area was less than desirable, but I felt safe at the hotel.

Good value for the money I spent. Traveling cross country by myself (26 year old white female) and when I first pulled up I was hesitant because of the location. About a mile off the freeway in a semi-secluded area with three hotels and a strip club. But the staff was nice and the room was clean and pet-friendly. Free Internet was provided. Would stay there again for the same price in the same situation. ...read more

I liked the fact that it was newly remodeled.
The hotel is in a neighborhood with a strip joint and a gentleman's club. No so family friendly!

The hotel was newly remodeled. The room was nice and clean We checked in, locked the door and the next day checked out. We did not use any of the facilities. I personally wouldn't stay there again, but it wasn't bad.

It's 2 hotels down from a
club.

The staff were helpful and friendly.

Room was very comfortable with fridge and microwave. Staff were mostly polite.
Location is poor in relation to entertainment, dining, etc. Motel next door is sketchy.

Very nice room, very comfortable and clean. Restaurant is cheaply priced and fairly good. Receptionists and maids were for the most part friendly and polite. Pool looked clean and well kept, but did not have a chance to use it this trip. Only bad things about the hotel were the lack of any entertainment or dining within walking distance besides a strip club, and the motel next door seemed sketchy and had police at it on one occasion. Hallways smelled smoky at times. Other then that, would stay again! ...read more

Pool was clean.
No exhaust fan in bathroom, iron broken, smelled cigarette smoke in hall, pool furniture broken.

Would hesitate to stay here again. My keycard had to be reactivated 2x. The iron was broken, the pool furniture came apart while sitting in it! You could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway. The shower hardware was difficult to operate and there was no exhaust fan. Saved some money, but after taxes not really that much and not worth it since we had all of these problems.

I liked that the hotel was recently remodeled and updated. It was newer looking than in the picture.
There were bug traps in the corners.

This was a very nice economy Hotel. The access to the rooms was on the inside through a very nicely decorated lobby and hall area.

It was close by to the places I was visiting.
The location and businesses around it gave a sense of a lack of safety.

Nothing
Rude staff, poor location.

Dusty, the desk clerk should not be working with the public. From the second I walked thru the door, he seemed bothered that he had to get up from his stool to greet a guest.

The hotel itself is okay, but the location is awful. Hard to get to off the main highway, road is in terrible shape, and the area was sleezy.

Not in a family-friendly area at all.
