Family Traveling with Teens
When we arrived at the hotel there was no one to be found at the desk. After a 10 minute wait the service desk person finally showed up. She couldn't confirm that we had made a reservation, even though we had the documentation for our reservation. After another 15 minutes of waiting she finally came up with a room for us. Upon entering the room we found the room already occupied by a man in his underwear. Upon returning to the front desk the attendant then proceeded to call (I'm not making this up) various room numbers to see if the room was occupied. I thought I was on an episode of Candid Camera. After another 10 minutes we informed the desk person we were going out to eat and to please call us if she located a room. After 45 minutes and no phone call I phoned the hotel and the lady said it would be another ten minutes. She said she was going to have to physically check to see if someone was occupying the room before confirming that is was available. She either had no knowledge of how to use a computer or had some mental issues. One of the other hotel guests informed me that when they had checked in they received a room that had not been cleaned so it was not just us that had a bad experience. The final icing on the cake was when my daughters swim suit was ruined do to the chemicals that the hotel had put into the hot tub. I never do reviews but in this situation I felt it was my duty to warn you. ...
