Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus Durham Hotel & Conference Centre

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The lady assisting with the breakfast was very cheerful and helpful!
The bathroom door had dirty hand prints on it.

No problems ... would stay again.

The friendly staff and nearby attractions.
We had ants all around the fridge and inside the fridge and had no idea where they came from.

Over all the hotel was ok. I have been here before and was more satisfied last time.

The staff were very friendly and there was a lot of guest parking.I liked being able to park my car right outside of my room so I could see it through the window. I also liked that the Oshawa Center which is the local mall was right down the street.
I didn't like how close to the highway the hotel was. And it is right under an off ramp for the 401 so it is hard to get to the hotel, but once you have done it once it is fine.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The breakfast they have each morning was to my standards and there are many local attractions such as the Oshawa center, bowling and a movie theatre up the street. I would go back for sure.

The staff that work at the hotel are absolutely amazing and polite.the room was extremely clean and they had a lot of parking space.
I found that the location of the hotel was hard to find.

Found the hotel was close to many local attractions such as the Oshawa Center which is a fairly decent mall in Oshawa. It was also close to a walmart and a variety of restaurants. It was also right beside the highway which made it easy to get around. I would go back to the hotel for sure the next time I stay in Oshawa

The staff were very friendly and the room was kept extremely clean.
The location was a little confusing to find as if your heading West the hotel and sign are hidden behind a ramp for the 401.

Location was convenient
Continental breakfast was poor, but I have yet to have a good continental breakfast anywhere, so at least they're consistent. :)

Nothing, booked 2 room NON SMOKING with King Beds. Was given, 2 - SMOKING rooms with 2 queen beds. Hotel staff made no attempt to make it, blamed Priceline saying they could give us what ever room they wanted....not the case as it was not how we booked.
Rooms smelled terrible, it was like getting hit with a wall of smoke as soon as you walked into the rooms.

Staff was not helpful at all, made not attempts to make it right even after they were called by Priceline rep. They had no problem taking my reservation for this type of room, just made no effort to actually provide the room I booked months ago. Remind me what the point of a reservation is??

The bed was very comfortable.
Nothing

The hotel met all my needs. Friendly staff & very informative. I had been stuck in traffic for 4hrs due to a bad accident & still was going to be a a few more hrs before I reached home. The hotel was close to the 401 hwy as I needed to work the next day early again. The hotel was great I would return again.
